What Is Freemasonry?
Freemasonry is one of the world's oldest fraternal organizations. For centuries, Masons have gathered in lodges to build friendships, encourage personal growth, support their communities, and help those in need.
Freemasonry is not a religion, although its members are expected to have a belief in a Supreme Being. Men from many different religious backgrounds can become Masons. The fraternity encourages its members to practice the values of faith, integrity, charity, brotherly love, and respect for others.
