He was married with 4 sons and a daughter and loved to tinker in the machine shop he had on his property in Richfield.  At one time he worked for Howard Thurston, America’s outstanding Magician, building apparatus and stage equipment. He operated from 1932-1934 the Hanna Theatre in Cleveland. He was owner of Rex Manufacturing Company in Richfield and Vice President of Richfield Hills Corp.  Bill build Briarwood Condos on Rt. 303 in Richfield, OH. He collected pre-WWI & late 19^th century art and statues. He was Director of the Cleveland Court #14 of the Royal Chapter of Jester, and Impresario of that organization since 1952, being honored as “Mr. Jester”. WB Bill was the first member in Meridian Sun history elected to receive the 33° Degree at ceremonies in Philadelphia in 1971. At the time of the 159^th, 1971 meeting of the Supreme Council of the Ancient Accepted Scottish Rite of the Northern Jurisdiction they had 500,000 32° members in 15 states. He has also been a Sovereign Prince of Bahurim Council, Princes of Jerusalem. He is a member of Al Koran Temple A.A.O.N.M.S. Shrine Stewards Committee since 1945.
