Mike is married and has two sons.  He was a construction electrician in the greater Cleveland area for 38 years and retired in 2002. Mike became a 32º Scottish Rite Mason in 1982. For the past 22 years he has participated in the 14^th Degree as an officer and then as director and participant.  In August 2005 he received the 33^º in Grand Rapids, Michigan. Worshipful Master Mike started out as Senior Steward 1982/1983; Senior Deacon 1983/1984; Junior Warden 1984/1985; Senior Warden 1985/1986. He again served as Senior Deacon 2003/2004 Junior Warden 2004 (Dec. through May 2005); and as Master in 2005 (from June to November). President of Past Master’s Association: 2003-2008. The Ancient Accepted Scottish Rite of Freemasonry-Valley of Akron: Aroba Lodge of Perfection: Thrice Potent Master 1992-1993; Deputy Master 1991-1992; Senior Warden 1990-1991; Junior Warden 1989-1990; Orator 1988 – 1989; Master of Ceremonies 1987-1988; Captain of the Guard 1986-1987; Directed the 9^th and 10^th Degrees twice. Mike also assisted Meridian Sun by serving as Master for five months in 2005 and has served as President of the Past Master’s Association for five years.  He also was on the Endowment Committee for the Valley of Akron for five years, serving as Chairman for three years. He has been on the Meridian Sun Temple Board several times over the years.  Mike is another of Meridian Sun’s PMs that always stepped up when something needed to be done, whether it be repairing the Temple, helping with fundraisers or volunteering, including helping with any part of the degree work.   (info from Mike)
