
Dr. Breck was married and had two sons, he was on the staff of Glenville Hospital, Cleveland. He attended Oberlin College, took his A.B. Degree at Amherst College in Massachusetts and his M.D. at Wooster University. He practiced medicine for a while in Hamline, Minn. before returning to Brecksville where he set up his medical practice. Theodore Breck Lodge No. 714 F&AM was named after him, and his great-grandfather was the founder of Brecksville. In years past Dr. Breck coached and directed many entertainments to be given for the benefit of public affairs. The last one before he passed away was “The Mikado”. He served in the military overseas in WWI as a Captain and made several trips across the ocean caring for our wounded boys who were being transported back home. His Brecksville home sits on the corner of Brecksville Rd. & Royalton Rd. and is the Brick building where the “Red Brick Store” is now.
