
Frank lived in Brecksville with his wife and owned a Hardware Store in Brecksville from 1926 to 1959, he then sold it and retired to manage a real estate agency he owned. He was very active in the Brecksville community. He served for many years on the Meridian Sun Temple Board. Frank and his wife traveled all over the world and would give travel lectures with photos he had taken. Frank was an accomplished “shooter” he won numerous awards and was a National Trap shooting Champ, in 1937, at the time he was only the second person to break 100 targets out of 100. He at one time played Saxophone for a Cleveland Orchestra. During his years as a Brecksville businessman, he had three first’s in Brecksville, the first to have electricity, the first to have a telephone and the first to own an automobile. He was Past President of the Ohio Trapshooting Association; He was past president of the Brecksville association; former Deacon of Brecksville United Church of Christ; in 1977 he was named Brecksville Citizen of the year and in the 1920’s he directed his own dance orchestra.
