The Lodge Officers will convene in a highly strategic (and possibly slightly caffeinated) session to finalize all the important details for the evening’s business meeting. This gathering will involve the careful alignment of agendas, the double-checking of reports, and the time-honored tradition of realizing five minutes beforehand that someone forgot to bring something important.
Topics may include ensuring everyone knows when they’re supposed to stand, sit, or speak, confirming that the paperwork is in the correct stack, and making sure the Worshipful Master’s gavel is within reasonable striking distance.
While the meeting is primarily focused on last-minute coordination, it will also provide a valuable opportunity for officers to exchange knowing looks, whisper clarifications, and collectively pretend everything has been planned this way all along.
All officers are encouraged to attend promptly so that the business meeting that follows may proceed with the smooth confidence that only a well-prepared (or at least well-rehearsed) group can achieve.
